Chorus recognises that environmental issues are an area of growing concern within the industry. As such, Chorus maintain an environmental management system accredited to ISO 14001:2004.
To this end we aim to:
- Incorporate environmental considerations into procurement processes
- Actively engage those affected by projects in project decision-making
- Protecting or enhancing natural resources and biodiversity
- Minimise waste generation and do not pollute
- Minimise energy in construction and use
- Conserve water resources
