• Effective and efficient energy consumption within our offices and our construction sites
• Using materials that have been procured from renewable, FSC / PEFC approved sources and encouraging the use of environmentally friendly alternatives
• The safe and effective use and storage of materials and substances to minimise the risk of environmental damage and pollution
• The safe and effective management of waste, including maximising the re-use, recycling and processing of waste to minimise waste being forward to landfill
• The effective management of traffic and movements

This policy is supported by competent assigned members of staff that carry out periodic ‘chain of custody’ audits to verify from where materials originated, how and when they were transported to site and how and when they were used.

Wherever possible, Chorus Group is keen to manage its projects as ‘carbon neutral’ projects and work with clients to offset carbon credits to fund mutually agreeable third world projects.
