The Savoy will reopen its doors in October 2010. Chorus Group has been responsible for one of the most ambitious restorations in British hotel history.

The Savoy closed in December 2007 for a restoration of the entire building from the iconic entrance and the American Bar to Savoy Grill and the 268 guestrooms and suites.

The Savoy's refurbishment includes the complete remodeling of the legendary River Restaurant, the addition of a luxurious new two-bedroom Royal Suite and 38 River Suites and Guestrooms with stunning views over the River Thames.

New to the hotel will be The Beaufort Bar, a glamorous Art Deco bar that will offer champagne, cocktails and cabaret and Savoy Tea, a bijou teashop selling Savoy tea and accessories. Within the Thames Foyer, the re-introduction of a stunning winter garden metal latticed gazebo will appear beneath a newly installed ornate glass dome. There will also be a glass enclosed fitness gallery and rooftop swimming pool - one of the few in London.
