SCOPE OF WORK

To celebrate Fortnum & Mason unique tercentenary Chorus Group undertook the most dramatic refurbishments of this landmark store in Piccadilly since 1926.

A major refurbishment of flagship store with new build elements incorporated, covering 50,000 sqft in an 87 week (81 working) programme. Works included the formation of a new atrium and roof light from the Lower Ground Floor to 2nd Floor and the installation of new structural steelwork.

Phase 2 works consisted of the complete strip-out and refit of three food retail floors (undertaken in three phases to enable trading). Works also included the refurbishment of three restaurants and the creation of one other. All areas included the formation of dust/noise resistant hoardings, asbestos removal, installation of new services, new partitioning and wall finishes and restaurant and shop fit.
