SCOPE OF WORK

The 445 guestroom 5 Star hotel remained fully operational for the duration of the refurbishment contract. Works included the stripout and upgrade of all guestrooms and associated risers; remodelling of conference rooms and back of house areas; window replacement works; renewal of major plant and modernisation of all plantroom areas all with in 74 weeks.

Complete refurbishment of the Presidential Suite was undertaken, including integrated AV facilities, giving a very contemporary and sophisticated environment. Very limited space was available for the site distribution system and any external vertical transportation used had to ensure that it did not affect lettable rooms, the restaurants and day-to-day access to the hotel. Close liaison with the Clients project management team was maintained to ensure that the budgets set were kept whilst providing the best value and solution to the works required.
